A journey to the land of Charles Darwin: the scattered volcanic Galápagos Islands 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador. Life there moves to the rhythm of nature with thousands of endemic species, both on its land and under its waters. Galápagos has a “naïve ecology”, in that the animals evolve without predators and have no instinctive fear of humans. Which makes the archipelago a photographer's playground and a storyteller’s dream come true. I captured this experience in 4K with an iPhone 14 Pro Max, a Go Pro Hero 10 Black, and a Sony A7Sii for both video and stills.

We recently joined an amazing home building volunteer effort in the small town of Stanford, Kentucky. While swinging a hammer is valuable, we decided to donate our collective storytelling skills to add to the whole impact. My first Backpack Story in 1996 on an HLV-55 Ikegami Betacam. As a staff cameraman and editor for NBC News in their Tel Aviv and Jerusalem bureaus, I was told a U.S. History professor was living in the Judean Desert with a tribe of Bedouin. The professor described a typical "Day in the Life" of the tribesmen, their history, uniqueness, and how modern technology is erasing their very existence.

Captured on a Sony A7Sii with minimal lighting, this Backpack Story of three extraordinary individuals, highlights how a local non-profit continues to empower and impact the lives of Central Florida's visually impaired.

Documenting the creation of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for Universal Orlando Resort's Public Relations Department, we created Electronic Press Kits, Video News Releases, and web-based content entirely with DSLR cameras.

This story focuses on the alliance between one of Hawai‘i’s most important man-made landmarks, and a young entrepreneur with similar goals for some of Hawai‘i’s natural treasures.
